Joel is an Aquatic Ecologist who possesses a strong understanding of fish community sampling, and general aquatic habitat assessment. Joel has experience leading electrofishing teams in aquatic species collection and identification, and completing seasonal hydrological investigations of surface waters in various natural environments. He has a thorough understanding of the provincial regulatory process, helping to guide projects and their proponents through requirements administered by conservation authorities, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (MNRF), and Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO). Joel is also an Environmental Inspector with over six years of experience in environmental inspection and construction monitoring. He has provided supervision and inspection services for a wide range of project types including culvert rehabilitations, road widenings and maintenance, subdivision developments, wetland/habitat remediation, and watercourse realignments.
