Kim's experience as an ecologist in Ontario spans more than a decade. Having spent many years working with a conservation authority, Kim has developed expertise in natural heritage policy and planning. She has extensive experience in conducting and reviewing environmental impact studies/natural heritage evaluations and natural heritage systems planning. She has working experience with the natural heritage policies of the Oak Ridges Moraine Conservation Plan, the Greenbelt Plan, the Lake Simcoe Protection Plan and numerous municipal Official Plans. Kim also has strong field skills with expertise in wildlife ecology and management, and wetland ecology. She is qualified as an Ontario wetland evaluator, has training in temperate wetland restoration and is certified in Ecological Land Classification.
