Beacon Environmental has a long-standing tradition of being actively involved in the development and teaching of courses related to a wide range of ecological topics. Topics include ecological assessment, wildlife management, wetland evaluation, environmental impact assessment, plant identification and ecological land classification. Our Senior Ecologists played lead roles in the development and teaching of both the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources endorsed Ecological Land Classification and Ontario Wetland Evaluation System courses for many years. We continue to provide guest lectures and lead workshops at various institutions, and offer training and courses in selected areas of expertise. Beacon Environmental staff have training and experience in coordination and facilitation of stakeholder meetings and other types of consultations on natural heritage issues.
